Calls to the model gpt-4o on Azure AI Foundry stop working on January 14, 2027.

On January 14, 2027, the gpt-4o model will be retired. Calls using model gpt-4o will fail after that day. The deprecation applies to version 2024-05-13.

## What to use instead

Move to gpt-5.1 version 2025-11-13. Note that gpt-5.1 stops working on July 13, 2027.
