# sora-2

Calls to the model sora-2 on Azure AI Foundry stopped working on July 15, 2026.

On July 15, 2026, the preview version 2025-10-06 of model sora-2 was retired. Calls targeting this model version fail since that date. The retirement affects requests made under Azure AI Foundry.

## What to use instead

Move to sora-2 version 2025-12-08 as the replacement.
