# gpt-4o-realtime

Calls to the model gpt-4o-realtime on OpenAI stop working on January 20, 2027.

On January 20, 2027, the model gpt-4o-realtime will be retired and calls to it will fail. This shutdown applies to all requests targeting the gpt-4o-realtime snapshot or family. After this date, OpenAI will no longer process traffic sent to this identifier.
