# DELETE /v1/card/{} stops working

Calls to DELETE /v1/card/{id} on Aiven API stopped working on September 22, 2026.

On September 22, 2026, the endpoint DELETE /v1/card/{id} was removed and calls to it fail. This endpoint was deprecated in favor of an organization-level route. Applications sending requests to this path are affected and no longer receive successful responses.

## What to use instead

Call /v1/organization/{organization_id}/payment-method/credit-card/{payment_method_id} instead using the organization-level API.
