# /v1/project/{}/user/{} stops working

Calls to /v1/project/{id}/user/{id} on Aiven API stopped working on July 21, 2026.

On July 21, 2026, the Aiven endpoint /v1/project/{id}/user/{id} was removed. Calls made to this route fail since that date. The change affects all requests targeting the project-level user management endpoint.

## What to use instead

Call /v1/organization/{organization_id}/permissions/project/{project_id} instead using the organization-level API.
