# /nft/v2/{}/isAirdrop stops working

Calls to /nft/v2/{id}/isAirdrop on Alchemy API stopped working on September 30, 2026.

On September 30, 2026, Alchemy retired the /nft/v2/{id}/isAirdrop endpoint. Calls sent to this path fail since that date. The removal was part of an effort to sunset redundant endpoints across the NFT API.

## What to use instead

Alchemy did not name a direct replacement endpoint and suggests contacting support. Continuing to detect airdrops requires finding another data source.

Alchemy names no replacement for airdrop detection; the feature needs another data source.
