Apple announced on October 6, 2026, that the App Store Connect API endpoint POST /v1/appScreenshotSets is deprecated without a shutdown date. App Store Connect API indicated that the resource is deprecated along with related screenshot and preview sets. Calls to this endpoint will eventually fail.

Manage media using the App Asset Library instead, specifically through /v1/appAssetLibraryImages, /v1/appAssetLibraryVideos, and /v1/appAssetLibraryPlacements.
