Circle API POST /v1/payments/{id}/capture endpoint removal

Stopped workingSubscribe to Circle APIShare

On April 3, 2025, the POST /v1/payments/{id}/capture endpoint was deprecated and removed from the Crypto Deposits API. Calls made to this endpoint fail. Any integration relying on this capture operation can no longer use it.

Calls it hits

  • POST /v1/payments/{id}/capture

What to use instead of these calls

Take crypto deposits with payment intents using POST /v1/paymentIntents instead, which does not include a capture step.
