# POST /v1/payments stops working

Calls to POST /v1/payments on Circle API stopped working on April 3, 2025.

On April 3, 2025, the POST /v1/payments endpoint was removed from the Crypto Deposits API. Calls made to POST /v1/payments fail after this date. This endpoint was previously deprecated and is no longer available to accept requests.

## What to use instead

Take crypto deposits with payment intents by using POST /v1/paymentIntents instead.
