# The Cards API stops working

Calls to /v1/cards* on Circle API stopped working on April 3, 2025.

On April 3, 2025, Circle API removed endpoints under /v1/cards*. Requests to these endpoints now fail. Circle API removed them alongside other deprecated products and services that never officially launched.

## What to use instead

Card acceptance is no longer offered, meaning accepting cards requires another payment processor. To take USDC deposits instead, use the Crypto Deposits API via POST /v1/paymentIntents.

Circle no longer offers card payments: accepting cards needs another payment processor.
