# exif on POST /v1_1/{}/{}/upload is deprecated

Cloudinary API deprecated POST /v1_1/{id}/{id}/upload, body parameter exif without giving a shutdown date yet.

The body parameter exif on POST /v1_1/{id}/{id}/upload has been deprecated without a shutdown date. Cloudinary indicates that requests relying on this parameter will eventually fail once it is fully removed.

## What to use instead

Send media_metadata=true instead of exif.

- API: Cloudinary API (api.cloudinary.com)
