# /v2/* stops working

Deno deprecated /v2/* without giving a shutdown date yet.

## What to use instead

Move to Cloudflare Workers; Deno offers migration support to paying customers.

Deno Deploy shuts down and Cloudflare Workers has no API like its v2: moving the deploys is a product decision.

- API: Deno (api.deno.com)
- Kind: Endpoint removal
- Announced: October 9, 2026
- Takes effect: no date given yet
- Calls after that day: fail
- Calls it hits: `/v2/*`
- Source: [Announcement](https://deno.com/blog/cloudflare)
- Verified: November 6, 2026, against Deno's own pages

## Deno's words

> Deno Deploy will continue operating for six months before shutting down.
