DOAJ API POST /api/bulk/articles changes: the unversioned path now serves API v4, not backwards compatible

Stopped workingSubscribe to DOAJ APIShare

On July 18, 2024, the unversioned API path changed to serve API v4 instead of older versions. This update affected POST /api/bulk/articles, which is not backwards compatible. Following this change, calls using older formats fail.

Calls it hits

  • POST /api/bulk/articles

What to use instead of these calls

Send bulk article uploads in the v4 format to POST /api/v4/bulk/articles. Note that v1 to v3 no longer accept bulk uploads.

In DOAJ API's words

As previously mentioned on this blog, we will migrate to the newest version of our API on Thursday 18th July. The v4 API will become the “current” API version and be available at /api AND /api/v4.
