# Play Developer API subscriptions.cancel stops working

Calls to POST /androidpublisher/v3/applications/{id}/purchases/subscriptions/{id}/tokens/{id}:cancel on Google Play Developer API stop working on August 31, 2028.

On August 31, 2028, the subscriptions.cancel endpoint will stop working. This change affects calls to POST /androidpublisher/v3/applications/{id}/purchases/subscriptions/{id}/tokens/{id}:cancel. Requests made to this endpoint after that day will fail.

## What to use instead

Use subscriptionsv2.cancel instead.
