# Play Developer API subscriptions.defer stops working

Calls to POST /androidpublisher/v3/applications/{id}/purchases/subscriptions/{id}/tokens/{id}:defer on Google Play Developer API stop working on August 31, 2028.

On August 31, 2028, the Google Play Developer API endpoint POST /androidpublisher/v3/applications/{id}/purchases/subscriptions/{id}/tokens/{id}:defer will be removed. Requests sent to this endpoint will fail after that date. This change affects developers calling the legacy subscription deferral endpoint.
