# The Harvest v1 API stops working

Calls to /v1/* on Greenhouse Harvest API stopped working on August 31, 2026.

On August 31, 2026, the Harvest v1 API was retired and stopped working. All requests to /v1/* endpoints fail since that date. Greenhouse Harvest API warned that the version would be removed and directed callers to Harvest v3.

## What to use instead

Move to Harvest v3 with OAuth 2.0 client credentials from auth.greenhouse.io. Review the READ and WRITE endpoint migration guides at harvestdocs.greenhouse.io to complete the transition.
