# PUT /v1/reservations/{} is deprecated

Guesty Open API deprecated PUT /v1/reservations/{id} without giving a shutdown date yet.

Guesty deprecated the PUT /v1/reservations/{id} endpoint without a specific shutdown date. Guesty Open API announced deprecation tags and notices for these legacy reservation resources ahead of retirement, confirming they will continue to function until sunset. Once fully retired, requests to this endpoint will fail.

## What to use instead

Use the dedicated v3 alteration endpoints for dates, guests, status, listing, and notes as described in Guesty's Reservation Alterations guide.
