# The Companies API v2 is deprecated

HubSpot deprecated the Companies API v2 without a shutdown date on September 15, 2026. This change impacts calls to /companies/v2/* endpoints, which will eventually fail. HubSpot API stated that these endpoints will move to unsupported status without further bug fixes, reliability improvements, or security updates.

Move calls to the Companies API on date-based versioning at /crm/objects/2026-09/companies. Note that HubSpot has not finalized every legacy endpoint's date-based replacement yet and documents them in its March 2027 release.
