# POST /v1/ai/image_generation is deprecated

Jigsawstack deprecated POST /v1/ai/image_generation without giving a shutdown date yet.

Jigsawstack announced on March 9, 2026, that it deprecated the POST /v1/ai/image_generation endpoint without specifying a shutdown date. Calls made to this image generation endpoint are slated for removal and will eventually fail once the change takes full effect.
