# GET /v1/user/service/terms stops working

Calls to GET /v1/user/service/terms on Kakao API stopped working on January 24, 2024.

On January 24, 2024, Kakao API retired the endpoint GET /v1/user/service/terms. Following this date, requests sent to this endpoint fail. The change applies to all callers using this version of the service terms retrieval feature.

## What to use instead

Switch to Retrieve consent details for service terms v2 by calling GET /v2/user/service_terms. The transition requires updating the request structure, as the user ID parameter is now id rather than user_id.
