# GET /public/v1/livestreams is deprecated

Kick API deprecated GET /public/v1/livestreams without giving a shutdown date yet.

Kick announced on June 23, 2026, that the GET /public/v1/livestreams endpoint is deprecated without a shutdown date. Calls made to this endpoint will eventually fail once it is fully removed.

## What to use instead

Use GET /public/v2/livestreams (paginated), or use GET /public/v1/users/livestreams to fetch livestreams by user IDs.
