# API version v1 stops working

Calls to /api/v1/* on Klaviyo API stopped working on July 1, 2024.

On July 1, 2024, API version v1 was retired. This change affects all /api/v1/* calls. Requests made after that day fail and return a 410 GONE error code.

## What to use instead

Move to the date-versioned APIs, such as GET /api/metrics and GET /api/profiles, using a revision header, and consult the API comparison chart.
