# POST /0/public/* stops working

Calls to POST /0/public/* on Kraken API stopped working on January 1, 2024.

On January 1, 2024, Kraken API removed support for POST requests to all public endpoints. Any requests sent as POST /0/public/* now fail. Calls to these public routes must use the standard supported HTTP method instead.

## What to use instead

Call the public endpoints with GET.

- API: Kraken API (api.kraken.com)
- Kind: Endpoint removal
- Announced: January 1, 2024
- Takes effect: January 1, 2024
- Calls after that day: fail
- Calls it hits: `POST /0/public/*`
