# /api/v1/runs/{}/share stops working

Calls to /api/v1/runs/{id}/share on LangSmith API stop working on January 31, 2027.

On January 31, 2027, the endpoint /api/v1/runs/{id}/share will stop working. Requests made to this legacy endpoint after that date will fail. LangSmith announced this deprecation on July 27, 2026, marking the route with a Sunset date of January 31, 2027.

## What to use instead

Share runs using POST /api/v2/runs/{run_id}/share, unshare them with DELETE /api/v2/runs/{trace_id}/share, and read the share state using GET /api/v2/runs/{run_id}?selects=SHARE_URL.
