# GET /api/v1/runs/{} stops working

Calls to GET /api/v1/runs/{id} on LangSmith API stop working on January 31, 2027.

On January 31, 2027, the endpoint GET /api/v1/runs/{id} will stop working. Requests made to this route after that date will fail. LangSmith announced this retirement on July 27, 2026, marking legacy run retrieval routes as deprecated with sunset response headers.

## What to use instead

Call GET /api/v2/runs/{run_id} instead. Updating will require adding the new mandatory project_id query parameter and specifying selects for the fields you need.
