# access_token query parameter stops working

Calls to query parameter access_token on Max stopped working on October 17, 2026.

Support for authentication using the query parameter access_token was removed on October 17, 2026. Requests that send authentication tokens through query parameters fail since that date. Calls must no longer rely on passing the token in the URL query string.

Pass the token in the Authorization header instead.
