# Graph API v21.0 is redirected to a newer version

From January 21, 2027, Meta Graph API answers calls to /v21.0/* from a newer version.

On January 21, 2027, Graph API v21.0 will retire. Requests sent to /v21.0/* will not fail immediately, but Meta Graph API will answer them from a newer version instead. Calls will be redirected automatically to the oldest version that remains available.

## What to use instead

Update requests to call a supported version, such as v26.0. Past January 21, 2027, Meta answers with the oldest version still available.

- API: Meta Graph API (graph.facebook.com)
- Kind: Version retirement
- Takes effect: January 21, 2027
- Calls after that day: answered by a newer version
- Calls it hits: `/v21.0/*`
- Source: [Lifecycle page](https://developers.facebook.com/docs/graph-api/changelog/versions?locale=en_US)
- Verified: November 6, 2026, against Meta Graph API's own pages
