# Graph API v23.0 is redirected to a newer version

From October 8, 2027, Meta Graph API answers calls to /v23.0/* from a newer version.

On October 8, 2027, Meta Graph API will retire version v23.0. Requests targeting /v23.0/* will be redirected rather than handled under that version. After that date, Meta Graph API answers these calls using a newer version.

## What to use instead

Call a supported version, such as v26.0. Past this day, Meta answers with the oldest version still available.

- API: Meta Graph API (graph.facebook.com)
- Kind: Version retirement
- Takes effect: October 8, 2027
- Calls after that day: answered by a newer version
- Calls it hits: `/v23.0/*`
- Source: [Lifecycle page](https://developers.facebook.com/docs/graph-api/changelog/versions?locale=en_US)
