# GET /planetary/apod stops working

Calls to GET /planetary/apod on NASA Open APIs stop working on December 1, 2026.

On December 1, 2026, the GET /planetary/apod endpoint will be taken offline. Requests sent to GET /planetary/apod will fail after that day. The removal was announced on September 10, 2026.

## What to use instead
