# GET /v1/subscribers/{}/notifications/unseen is deprecated

Novu API deprecated GET /v1/subscribers/{id}/notifications/unseen without giving a shutdown date yet.

Novu API has deprecated the GET /v1/subscribers/{id}/notifications/unseen endpoint without announcing a shutdown date. This change affects requests retrieving the unseen in-app notification count for a subscriber. Once removed, these calls will fail.

Count notifications with GET /v2/subscribers/{subscriberId}/notifications/count.
