# POST /v1/subscribers/{}/messages/mark-all is deprecated

Novu API deprecated POST /v1/subscribers/{id}/messages/mark-all without giving a shutdown date yet.

The POST /v1/subscribers/{id}/messages/mark-all endpoint has been deprecated without a shutdown date, and calls to it fail. This change impacts requests intended to update subscriber in-app notification states under the v1 path. Developers must switch away from this route to maintain notification updates.

## What to use instead

Mark all notifications using POST /v2/subscribers/{subscriberId}/notifications/read, or use the /seen or /archive variants.
