Calls to /v1/async/sonar* stopped working on September 27, 2026. Perplexity removed these asynchronous requests and they fail since that date. As noted in the documentation, they are no longer supported.

Submit an Agent API request (POST /v1/agent) with background: true and poll the response by id.
