data.parent body parameter removal on POST /v2/entities/search
Stopped workingSubscribe to Productboard APIShare
On April 30, 2026, the parent body parameter was removed from the POST /v2/entities/search endpoint. Calls sending the data.parent property fail since that day. This breaking removal retired legacy flat properties from the request body in favor of structured objects.
Calls it hits
POST /v2/entities/searchbody parameter data.parent
What to use instead of these calls
Send entity filters using the structured data.filter and data.return objects instead. This includes using data.filter.type, data.filter.id, data.filter.fields.*, data.filter.relationships.*, and data.return.fields.
In Productboard API's words
Removed deprecated legacy flat properties ( type, types, ids, name, archived, parent, statuses, owners, fields) from the request body. Use the structured filter and return objects instead
