# The regional Load Balancer API is deprecated

Scaleway API deprecated /lb/v1/regions/* without giving a shutdown date yet.

Scaleway deprecated the regional Load Balancer API without a shutdown date. The retirement affects calls targeting /lb/v1/regions/*, and Scaleway API states the interface is no longer maintained. Calls to these regional endpoints will eventually fail.

## What to use instead

Call the zoned Load Balancer API under /lb/v1/zones/{zone}/ instead. This provides the same resources addressed by zone instead of region.
