# The Legacy Marketing Campaigns Campaigns API is deprecated

SendGrid API deprecated /v3/campaigns* without giving a shutdown date yet.

SendGrid API has deprecated the Legacy Marketing Campaigns /v3/campaigns* endpoints without announcing a shutdown date. Calls to these routes will eventually fail as the interface is considered obsolete. Review your integration to identify any calls targeting the /v3/campaigns* path before they are turned off.

## What to use instead

Send campaigns using the Single Sends API (/v3/marketing/singlesends) instead. Moving requires more than updating endpoint calls, as the new Marketing Campaigns service maintains its own contacts, lists, and senders that must also be migrated.

The new Marketing Campaigns keeps its own contacts, lists and senders; moving means migrating them, not only the calls.
