# Shopify Admin API 2026-10 is redirected to a newer version

From October 16, 2027, Shopify Admin API answers calls to /admin/api/2026-10/* from a newer version.

On October 16, 2027, the Shopify Admin API will retire version 2026-10. This change affects requests sent to the /admin/api/2026-10/* endpoints. After this date, these calls will not fail, but Shopify will redirect and answer them using a newer version.

## What to use instead

Call a newer stable version instead. Past this day, Shopify answers with the oldest version still accessible.
