# Shopify Admin API 2027-01 is redirected to a newer version

From January 16, 2028, Shopify Admin API answers calls to /admin/api/2027-01/* from a newer version.

On January 16, 2028, Shopify Admin API version 2027-01 will be retired. This change affects calls to /admin/api/2027-01/*. Requests sent to these endpoints after this date will not fail, but will be redirected and answered by a newer version.

Call a newer stable version instead. After this date, Shopify answers requests with the oldest version that is still accessible.
